Payal Barua is an Integrative Nutrition Health coach, speaker and mentor helping clients with gut & hormone health, metabolic health, weight loss, fertility, menstrual health as well as autoimmune conditions. She especially focuses on bringing awareness of body – how stress hormones and mindset effect our lifestyle choices.
She firmly believes that what we feed our mind (meditation, positive psychology, philosophy) and our body (nutrition & exercise) determines our wellbeing, one cannot exist without the other.
She helps people achieve their health goals in two specially designed programs. The first program has 12 sessions covering daily lifestyle, understanding how the human body functions & responds to diet, mindset & lifestyle, and nutrition coaching program.
The second program is focused on brain health and understanding neuro-hormonal pathways to make the necessary transformation.
She is a formally certified Hatha Yoga teacher by the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta, France 2016. She has received multiple trainings in yoga for people with injuries, disabilities, seniors as well as prenatal yoga. She can teach in both French and English. She has taught yoga in Paris, India and in Dubai she teaches Yoga in Nilaya House Al Quoz, private and corporate clients.
Her passion for health – physical and mental wellbeing, stems from her experience raising a special needs child. Until 2012, Payal ran a successful fashion import and export business in Paris, France. After the traumatic birth of her son, she changed life directions, with the realization that a ‘happy person is also a healthy person’ and that health is the vehicle to fulfill our dreams. With this in mind, Payal helps each person address their unique physiology and mental makeup to reclaiming optimal health and vitality.

A health Coach is a supportive mentor who helps clients make healthy lifestyle choices and Good Health is beyond Diet and Nutrition. Whether the goal is to lose weight, increase energy or sleep better at night a Health Coach helps people make healthy lifestyle changes and feel their best. Traditional doctors and physicians, extremely important constituents of our society for when we are sick, don't necessarily have the time to help educate us to form healthy lifestyle habits. One day it will probably be mandatory that after a physician meets with a patient to hand it over to a health coach to guide and support the patient and hold accountable for diet and lifestyle changes.
Research shows that up to 80% of diseases are stress related. Chronic stress leaves the nervous system in a heightened state of awareness of danger. Turns out the body cannot distinguish between imagined or real, mental or physical stress or danger. The reflexive lifesaving reaction to fight or run springs into place. Chronic Stress leads to Chronic Inflammation -digestion becomes impaired along with mental clarity and robs the body of essential B vitamins and micronutrients, eventually leading to a whole host health related issue. Coaching: One of the main goals of my health coaching program either through individualized sessions or group coaching is to build awareness of mind, body and environment. And from a place of knowledge and awareness you can make healthy long term decisions for you and your family one small step at a time.
1:1 coaching – is a program to get personalized nutrition and healthy lifestyle practices for you and your family. The program consists of 12 sessions of 60 minutes video calls either weekly or every fortnight at your own pace.

Change is always hard and that is why I need a coach to do it. Payal comes with practical advice on how to change. I see more energy and I am slowly getting stronger.
What is new for me is that I am focusing on health instead of weight. And that will also be my focus in the future. I really enjoy the book I got from her very interesting. I see steady good mood instead of ups and downs and a big shift from procrastinating to more energy and good mood.
During my Health coaching journey my learnings have been many. Every week has been an eye-opening experience as I learn more about the human body, how everything we do is intrinsically linked to our health and how being aware can change the decisions we make. I thought I had built up enough resistance in my body for gluten and dairy even though it impacted me. Having understood how it effects my gut and hormones and I have cut it out, I have noticed significant improvements. I suffered a lot with stress, work and past trauma. Meditation and journal techniques I learned in this program has helped bring peace and mental clarity than it was a few months ago when I started this journey with you.
